Ms. April L. Lentz draws upon over 10 years of professional experience in business development, account management, marketing, and client services across various contract service organizations (CSOs) ranging of bioprocessing of mammalian cell culture through parenteral formulation, fill and finishing, to her current role in pharmaceutical packaging, GMP warehousing and global drug distribution.
As Business Development Manager for Sentry BioPharma Services, Inc., April establishes sales objectives, builds strategic industry alliances and generates national market awareness for the company's services. Lentz strives to create tailored solutions to specific client needs and temperature-sensitive healthcare products supporting clinical trials, commercial biopharmaceutical product launch and prescription drug commercialization. Ms. Lentz serves as an advocate for Sentry's clients, providing a positive experience for Big Pharma as well as virtual biopharma customers throughout the life of the relationship. In addition to her direct role in client services, Lentz is also responsible for expanding Sentry's healthcare service portfolio, sales processes and for managing customer loyalty.
Prior to joining Sentry BioPharma Services, April served in a number of leadership roles where she focused on revenue growth, client satisfaction, developing new business processes, and increasing productivity and efficiency. Ms. Lentz excelled in positions with biopharmaceutical contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) including Cook Pharmaceutical Solutions, Baxter Pharmaceutical Solutions and Cook Pharmica. April also gained valuable experience as Quality Specialist which solidifies her understanding of the entire biological and pharmaceutical product lifecycle from discovery through commercialization.
April earned a bachelor's degree in science from Indiana University. She also has completed extensive professional training in business development, project management, client services, biotechnology, cGMP compliance, and team leadership.
