Randal L. Lloyd, J.D. - Vice President of Government Relations

Randy Lloyd, J.D.

Mr. Randy Lloyd, Sentry BioPharma Services' vice president of government relations, has more than 20 years of executive management experience in both private industry and the government sector. He brings to Sentry significant leadership and economic development expertise. As a specialist in both domestic and international business relations, Mr. Lloyd serves as Sentry's primary liaison with government accounts and global pharmaceutical partners. He also analyzes the impact of continually-changing legislation that affects the worldwide pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life science industries to help Sentry define and hone its strategic business development and financial growth strategies.

In addition to his role at Sentry, Mr. Lloyd also is a partner in First Capital Investment Group, Inc. where he serves as vice president and corporation counsel. In this position, he identifies new business development opportunities, provides market assessments and establishes viable financial growth strategies. Previously, Mr. Lloyd served as the assistant for economic development to the Mayor of Bloomington, Indiana. In this role he served as the chief legislative liaison to state and federal governments where he was responsible for formulating and implementing the Mayor's economic development policies. Mr. Lloyd was also an industry field representative for the Indiana Business and Modernization Technology Corporation where he focused on growing the state's life science industry. Additionally, he has held other leadership positions with organizations that include Indiana's Small Business Development Center Export Assistance Center.

Mr. Lloyd has served as an adjunct professor at the Kelley School of Business and School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, where he has taught undergraduate and MBA courses in international business, negotiations, community development, law and public policy. He also has taught an executive MBA course at the City University of Hong Kong. Mr. Lloyd received both J.D. and B.A. degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Throughout his career, he has served on numerous community boards and commissions.
